The Face Behind The Blog
Hey, I’m so glad you’re here. I am Monali.
I work in IT for the bread and butter of my life—but travel?
That’s the bread and butter of my soul.
I’m not a full-time nomad or someone who’s constantly hopping borders. I take a few trips a year—4 or 5, when I can—and I pour everything into them. I look for places that feel good, not just look good. The ones that stay with you long after you’ve unpacked.
Scoring Stamps is my space to share those travels—
the itineraries I’ve tested, the tips and little tricks I’ve picked up along the way, and soon, even a “plan my trip” service for fellow wanderers who want help making the most of their next escape.
If you love quiet adventures, intentional travel, and the feeling of stamping new memories into your life,
then this little corner of the internet is for you.
Thanks for being here. Let’s take it one stamp at a time 🤍
Where I’ve Been
Travel Destinations

Switzerland
Charming villages, silent peaks, and postcard-perfect train rides. From Lauterbrunnen’s waterfalls to the stillness of Interlaken’s lakes, discover slow travel at its most breathtaking. Itineraries, tips, and the kind of moments that stay with you.
Wandering through Paris and Montmartre felt like walking inside a storybook. From quiet mornings by the Seine to evenings under twinkling cafés, this little chapter of France is filled with simple, beautiful moments—and everything I’d go back for.
From the quiet charm of Bath to the bold, buzzing heart of London—England unfolded like a series of contrasts I didn’t know I’d love. Wandering through Borough Market’s flavors and Camden’s quirks, I found that the soul of the place lives just as much in its side streets as its landmarks.

Belgium
Belgium felt like a quiet daydream—waffles in Brussels, canals in Bruges, and the artistic heartbeat of Ghent. Each city had its own rhythm, but they all shared the same charm: cobblestones, warm cafés, and a sense of story at every turn.

Netherlands
Amsterdam was a layered experience—canals weaving between centuries-old homes, the hum of bicycles, and late-night wanderings through the Red Light District. Between boat rides and stroopwafels, the city felt like a curious mix of calm and chaos—and I loved both.

United States
From the volcanic beauty of Big Island to the breathtaking stillness of Alaska, the U.S. has surprised me in the best ways. I’ve only just begun exploring this vast country, but with every trip, I uncover something a little more magical—one state at a time.

Canada
Home in every sense of the word. From Vancouver’s coastlines and quick getaways to the majestic Rockies and the buzz of Toronto, Canada has shaped my love for travel. It’s where my roots are—and where some of my favorite escapes began.
My Story
Blogging & Traveling Abroad
Living in Georgia
I’m a Canadian Indian currently based in the suburbs of Atlanta—where city life meets quiet charm.
By day, I work in the digital team at one of the world’s top cruise lines (yes, it’s just as fun as it sounds!).
It’s a job I love for the structure and creativity it brings—but when the PTO kicks in, I’m all about boarding planes instead of decks.

How I Got Started Blogging
I’ve always been that person who sends overly detailed travel tips to friends after a trip.
The kind who keeps notes on cafés in Brussels or which train to take to Lauterbrunnen—not just for myself, but because I genuinely love helping others have a smoother, richer experience.
Eventually, I thought: why not put all this into something more permanent?
And so Scoring Stamps was born.
Why I Blog
Where Am I Now?
Right now, I travel 4–5 times a year—each trip planned with intention and curiosity.
I’ve traced my way through Switzerland, London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Canada and United States so far, and every place has left a little stamp on me.
This blog is where I’m slowly gathering all those memories, maps, and learnings so you can use them for your own travels, too.
I’m also a certified Fora travel advisor, which means I can help you plan and book your own getaways—whether you’re after charming boutique hotels, hidden gems, or full-blown dream itineraries. Think of it as a travel buddy with perks and planning superpowers.
And while I’m not a full-time traveler just yet, that’s the dream I’m quietly working toward—one blog post, one stamp, one trip at a time.
What is Coming?
My long-term dream? To become a full-time – traveler, storyteller, and trip advisor.
someone who doesn’t just write about travel, but lives it every day.
And as this blog grows, maybe we’ll get there together.
